Who we are
We’re a small, family-owned oyster farm in Rowley, Massachusetts. Our two acres sit in the heart of the Great Marsh, where the tides of the Rowley River bring a steady supply of nutrients and give our oysters their balanced, briny flavor.
The farm is run by owner Dan Terry, better known around Rowley as Dan the Oyster Man. He’ll tell you the secret is clean water and patience. We think it’s the pep talks he gives the oysters.
We sell to local restaurants and raw bars, and we work with schools and researchers on projects that look at how oyster farming and the marsh can support each other.

How we grow
We raise our oysters off the bottom in floating cages on the Rowley River. Up in the water, they get clean tidal flow and plenty of food, which gives them deep cups, clean shells and plump meat.
